East Kilbride, Strathaven and Lesmahagow Conservatives have selected Cllr Graham Simpson to be our candidate in the General Election.
Dad-of-two Graham stood in the Scottish Parliament elections in 2007 and narrowly missed out on becoming an MSP as well as a councillor.
We hold a number of events throughout the year and we always welcome new members with the will and desire to help us deliver better government at all levels.
Members help with our campaigning - led by Graham Simpson - and can attend social and political events locally and elsewhere.
We recently held our annual dinner in Strathaven where Jackson Carlaw MSP was the guest speaker.
It is our firm view that people here deserve a vibrant choice. For too long Labour have taken the electorate here for granted.
They no longer enjoy the power they once had but it is vitally important that voters turn away from them and that those who believe in a United Kingdom look to us to represent them.
Graham has been doing that very effectively in East Kilbride West.
