Colin McGavigan - Clydesdale South

Colin McGavigan has been selected as the Conservative candidate for Clydesdale South at the 2012 local government elections. A resident of South Lanarkshire, Colin was previously the Conservative candidate for Clydesdale at the 2011 Scottish Parliament election. Colin said:

"Living in Clydesdale, and having previous election experience, I am familiar with the communities which make up the Clydesdale South ward, and the issues they are facing. My priorities are tough action to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour, better opportunities for local people, caring for our environment and ensuring that everyone can count on good quality, value for money public services. Our communities have been failed in the past on these counts by Labour and the SNP, but next year, voters in Clydesdale south will have the chance to vote for a real change and for a better life for all local people. A vote for the Conservatives in Clydesdale south can help make it happen."
